​Florida State Security is actively seeking applicants who are interested in a private security industry career.

​To be considered for employment, candidates must:

  • ​​Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a Class D, State of Florida, Security Officer License
  • Be a U.S. citizen, legal resident or have been authorized to work by the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services
  • Be of good moral character
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be physically able and in generally good health in order to perform all duties as assigned
  • Not be a chronic or habitual user of alcohol and/or drugs (company reserves the right to random drug testing)
  • Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have a high school education or suitable equivalent
  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language at a high school level


​These requirements are the minimum necessary for an applicant to be considered for employment.You may submit an application for employment online.  The application will remain active for 90 days only. If you wish to be considered for employment thereafter, you must submit another Employment Application.Once you have submitted your application DO NOT call our office to follow up.  We will call you if we have a position available that meets your specific qualifications.
